Our Impact
We have provided a safe home, education, and medical care to hundreds of vulnerable children at the Kinyo Children's Village.
For over 30 years, L'ESPERANCE Uganda has been a sanctuary for children who have lost their parents to AIDS and poverty. We do not just offer shelter; at the Kinyo Children’s Village, we provide a family environment, comprehensive education, and medical care, ensuring every child has the hope and skills for a self-determined future.
What we do
We provide a holistic ecosystem for vulnerable children in the Masaka and Rakai districts. From a loving home at Kinyo Village to comprehensive education and sustainable farming, we empower the next generation to break the cycle of poverty.
We Provide Shelter
At the Kinyo Children’s Village, we provide family-based care for orphans and vulnerable children. They live in foster families where they receive love, protection, and a sense of belonging.
We Ensure Health
Our on-site health center ensures that every child and staff member has access to necessary medical treatment, vaccinations, and balanced nutrition from our own farm.
We Educate
Education is the key to the future. We run the Hope Primary School and a Comprehensive Secondary School to turn vulnerable children into the confident leaders of tomorrow.
We Farm
We believe in sustainability. Through our forestry, vegetable, and livestock projects, we teach vital agricultural skills and produce food to make our village self-reliant.
